Data/List Maintenance
If you already have a mailing list, let Direct Response maintain it for you. We can standardize your list according to Postal requirements and add the zip+4. We also offer NCOA (National Change of Address) service to assure your mail is delivered timely and accurately.
Mailing Lists
We can provide you with an up-to-date mailing list for virtually any market segment. Our understanding of list selection and criteria enables us to help you target the best audience for your mailing.
High speed inkjetting is used to apply addresses and barcodes to your mailpiece. This is a fast method for imprinting your mail and ensures you receive the best postal discounts available.
Personalization is available through a mail merge process. You supply the names and addresses, we imprint your letters and envelopes and make sure the items match-up correctly.
High speed labeling and tabbing is used to meet postal regulations. Tabs of different substrates can be applied.
Machine insertion is used to speed up the tedious process of stuffing printed matter into envelopes. The process is fast and eliminates timely hand insertion. Several pieces can be inserted at one time.
Some mail projects require hands on care. We offer hand collating and insertion of odd sized pieces as well as assembling custom product packages for distribution.
Polybagging allows you to insert several different medias into one packet. Our equipment and polybags meet postal regulations.
Let us shop for the best rates on your shipping needs. We offer storage of your inventory for quick shipping turn around. Orders filled and shipped from a central location, for fast delivery.
DESIGN
If you know what you want to say and just need a little help in designing your mail piece — or if you want a professional designer to handle it all, look no further. Our Design Department can assist you. We have years of design experience creating top quality, highly visible mail pieces. And we work closely with the post office to make sure your mail piece meets postal regulations to receive the maximum postal discount.
We can design a wide variety of pieces for you. Anything from labels, business cards, letterhead and brochures to posters, banners, signage and display booths. Just ask and we will deliver. If we can't do it for you, we will try to help you find someone who can.
Have one of our mailing experts give you advice on how to avoid costly postal penalties. Remember to call us BEFORE you print your piece and let us look at a proof of any printed material before it goes to press so you can be assured the best postal rates for your mailing and avoid costly postal penalties for any design errors.
We can create a user friendly web site, with a mobile or tablet version. Or, if you have an existing site and just need us to put together a few graphics, we can do that to.
Call us to discuss how we might help you in this capacity.

FAQs
THE MAILING PROCESS
The first step is to run your database of names through our computer program. This makes sure that each address is standardized based on requirements from the Post Office.
The next step is to add the zip+4 to the 5-digit zip codes. Performing this step allows us to get the lowest postage rates for your mailing with automation barcode information.
Once the addresses have been Standardized and CASS Certified, we then ink jet the names, addresses and postal bar code directly onto the mail piece. This method has been proven to be more effective than using labels.
After the mail pieces have been addressed, we then separate them into bundles based on specific zip code sequences or Postal Processing center. These bundles are then rubber-banded and placed in assigned trays.
The last step of your mailing is to fill out all of the paper work and deliver the mail to the Post Office.
We will need print approvals and payment of postage before we mail your job. We will give you estimated times of arrival. Please Note: We cannot be liable for Post Office delivery schedules or when the USPS will deliver your mailing.
Your mailing list will not be sold or offered for use to any other party or used for any other purpose.
OPTIMIZING THE MAILING PROCESS
• Keep your original mailing list and send us a copy of your mailing list.
• Provide your mailing list in one of the following file formats: ASCII Tab or Comma Delimited, Excel Spreadsheet, or DBF (database format).
• Please note, Direct Response cannot assume responsibility for the accuracy of your list(s).
• Direct Response will remove duplicate names within database files at the request of the customer.
• Please note, Direct Response cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of duplicate removal due to variances in the data.
It is inevitable that some of your printed pieces will get damaged while in the printing and/or mailing process. It is for these reasons that we recommend printing a minimum of 3-5% extra.
• You must place a stamp over the indicia before mailing.
• Even though your cards/envelopes have been printed with an indicia that says "Postage PAID," you have only been charged for the pieces that have been mailed through the Post Office.
• Unless specifically requested by the customer on the order form, we will not return any leftover materials, instead they are recycled.
